Ok, so I am back after a hiatus that was a bit too long. I have been swamped with my latest project (which is unfortunately unrelated to most of my research) so my mind has not been on my own personal research.
But, I have some cool news. Currently I am visiting the lab of Jordi Bascompte at the Estacion Biologico de Donana in Seville, Spain. I arrived this past Friday in Madrid and did the tourist thing, visiting the Prado and Reina Sofia (mostly just to see Guernica, my favorite Picasso). I then made my way by train to Seville on Saturday and got acquainted with the beautiful historic district. Monday I began my 10 day visit with the Bascompte Lab.
